Aidan Healy to chair inaugural meeting of Neurodiversity Special Interest Group
05 February 2021
The inaugural meeting of the Neurodiversity Special Interest Group (SIG) will take place on February 24th at 10am. If you are a BATA member you can reserve a place by booking here here.
The Group has been created to facilitate the exploration and evaluation of how assistive technology is accessed and by, and benefits, those with neurodifference.
It is also a space for discussion and sharing of good practice amongst those working in the field of neurodiversity.
At the first meeting we will canvass attendees for topics and priorities, consider proactive working group activities, and explore the options of guest speakers.
Membership is open to all BATA members, and we will be actively seeking contributions from all attendees. All opinions are valid and welcome, members should bring an open mind and robust discussion should be expected.
To launch the SIG, meetings will be chaired by Aidan Healy, held online, conducted monthly, and reviewed after the first three meetings.
Aidan Healy is a Business Psychologist and the CEO of Lexxic. He has fifteen years of experience in people development roles holding qualifications in psychology, leadership development and coaching. He is also the co-chair of the Neurodiversity task forces for the BDF and ENEI.
