How Access to Work delivers assistive technology in the workplace

Seminar aimed at exploring how to make the most of Access to Work  with the help of  expert speakers and the shared experiences of attendees

Access to Work continues to be an important element in enabling disabled people to work, covering the cost of equipment and aids as well as expenses such as travel to work and support workers.

The scheme is designed to supplement the reasonable adjustments that employers are required to make under the Equality Act. Some 27,730 people benefited from Access to Work in the financial year 2017/2018 at a cost of over £110m.

However, Access to Work is not always well-known to employees or employers. This seminar is aimed at helping delegates better understand how the scheme works and to share their experiences of the current process.

Audience: Company executives, HR managers, assessors, disability professionals
